My floral design journey began 16 years ago when I ran away with the circus. No, Really. While life as a travelling magician’s assistant was certainly never boring, I eventually grew out of show business and needed to find a real life big-girl job. I didn’t know who I was or what I wanted at just 18 years old, but I kept seeing this image in my mind of me working in a flower shop. I had never even been in a flower shop at that point in my life! By some stroke of luck, a local florist in my small hometown in Skagit Valley actually gave me a chance and hired me with no experience whatsoever. My first duty? To make them one of those new things on the internet called “A Facebook”.

“The rest,” as they say, “was history!” I worked my way up from washing buckets and answering the phones to shop manager. I eventually left Skagit Valley to take a lead designer position at a flower shop in Ellensburg, WA. I stayed there for another 5 years and had the opportunity to surround myself with so many talented, creative minds, and really developed a strong personal design style. The next logical step was to go into business for myself. For the last 7 years, owning and operating my own private floral design studio has been a rewarding adventure.

After 11 years in charming Ellensburg, WA— it was time for the next adventure. I made the decision to sell my home, pack up my studio and move my life and my business to Spokane.

I’ve been so blessed to have that little spark of interest for the floral industry grow into what I can only describe as true love. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to share this passion with thousands of clients in Central Washington and I am so excited for this opportunity to bring that same passion to Spokane.
